Join us for affordable visual & performing arts classes taught online and in-person. We offer classes in drawing, painting, graphic design, video, photography, crafts, art history, dance, music, theater, and professional development. Professional artists teach all classes.

Community Arts classes are for artists and hobbyists 16 and up. Discounts are available on select classes for Maryland seniors 60 and up.

NOTE: Co-Listed Classes

Some of our classes are co-listed with credit classes. The two sections meet together, and students are held to the same expectations. The only differences are that non-credit students do not have to apply to the college, do not receive a final grade, and seniors can sign up at any time and receive a waiver. Co-listed classes usually have a small number of seats (2-5), so sign up early.

Learn how math underlies art and examine their inherent connections—including how art has driven the development of mathematics. Explore artworks from antiquity to modern times, as well as examples from graphic design, geometric and optical art, Islamic ornamentation, cartoons, and street art. In music production studios, broadcasting stations, and live streaming, technicians are expected to know Pro Tools.
